KC Haywood
On June 14th, KC Haywood had an accident and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in downtown Chicago where he received the best medical care possible. Sarah, Gail, Greg, Jenni, Ike and Dylan spent nights sleeping in the NSICU waiting room, taking turns using a hotel room so that everyone had a chance to get cleaned up and get better sleep, all the while making sure some one was always with KC. An ever expanding group of friends came and went daily, some spending the night. Everyone was optimistic and spirits were high.

Several people have said they are donating to KC & Sarah to help with medical, living & miscellaneous expenses, but would also like to donate to his parents to help with their stay in Chicago during this time. For this reason, a link is provided below. Please consider KC's & Sarah's expenses first.
To Donate to KC's parents, Greg & Gail,

On Friday, June, 27th, a consultation with the doctors revealed that KC had taken a turn for the worse and a serious of strokes had occurred in his right hemisphere. This in turn was causing the pressure to rise in his brain that would ultimately cause his brain stem damage that would take his life.
KC died on Saturday morning, June 28th, 2008, at 5:30 AM.
There is a service on July 4th, 2008 as well as other events.
